HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM......?

Here we go again........... this person is visiting my blog on a regular basis but is only looking at cards with no signature on them.

 Mountain View California

So if you are the said person and you are a genuine visitor then please  leave me a comment and I will retract this post.

I work hard on my cards and they are all my own designs and I also have a Copyright notice on my blog.  I would hate to think that my designs are being lifted but if this is the case then I will have to report it to Google.

I just wanted to highlight this for others.......again. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

A VISITOR ......SUNNYVALE CALIFORNIA

After reading a post from another blogger here tonight about a repeating visitor on their blog from Sunnyvale California I decided to check out my Fedjit and sure enough I have also been visited by this person a total of 35 times in and out of various posts in the last three days. Now that's a lot of visits ............so as a precaution against any pics being lifted and used in infringement of Copyright I have disabled the right click function on my blog.
So if you are the said person and you are a genuine visitor then please reveal yourself as such.

I don't like having to take these measures but I work hard on my cards and they are all my own designs and I also have a Copyright notice on my blog.

I just wanted to highlight this for others.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

70th Birthday...Laptop

Just had to share this card before I pop off to bed.

My friend asked me to do a 70th card for a guy who likes crosswords and his laptop. So after a while ( weeks actually) thinking of how to incorporate the two onto a card and coming up with nothing......I decided that a laptop was virtually the same shape as an easel card and voila !! the mojo kicked in...thank goodness as I was running out of time on this one.  So here is the finished card, I am really pleased with the way it turned out. I ran it by my two Sons 27 and 30 years old, a pair of computer wizz kids, and they thought it was cool....good enough for me : )

I Googled all of the images and printed them on to pearlised card, except the crossword it's just on plain white card. As you can see above I have incorporated the Birthday greeting into the crossword. I just hope my friend likes it as much as I do.

Thanks for looking

LOTV AND FIRST EDITION, GREAT COMBINATION

Happy St Patrick's Day to everyone!!
My card today is one of my  favourite's this year. It was a commission for one of Hubby's work colleagues.
I have used a LOTV image and the gorgeous First Edition papers. A very simple design but the papers make it look special. I love this fold too, I must do this more often.
I'm off now to celebrate my Grandson's 8th Birthday, hope I can last the pace...lol still not feeling 100%.
Thanks for you visit today.

A difficult day.....

You may or may not have noticed I've not been around blog land much these past three weeks.

Sadly my lovely Mum died on the 21st Feb and I've just not been able to concentrate on anything. She was a fabulous Mum , Gran and Great Gran and will be missed by us all.
Today is her Birthday and she would have been 93....

This weekend has been really difficult for me with Mother's Day yesterday and her Birthday today but I'm trying to get myself back on track this week, going back to work tomorrow and of course getting back into my card making again. I can just hear her saying, don't just sit around doing nothing.... life's for living....and she certainly had a good life, and a very active one at that. Never sat down and always out and about.
So I thought I'd share a little card that was made a few weeks ago. Very simple but I liked it very much.

Thank you for your visit today, have a lovely week.

Hugs
