Beach Babe at 70......

Hi there, I was asked to make a card for a Mum who loves her holidays. I hunted through all my images and came up with this one. I'm afraid I don't know what it is, so if anyone can tell me I'd be really grateful so that I can give credit for it. It was in a bunch of images a blogging friend from ages ago sent me and it was already coloured.
It's a fun card and I'm sure she will have a good chuckle when she opens it.
I've used Cuddly Buddly striped paper download called a Portfolio of papers, Pink
The bubble paper is a free download from Carolyn's Crafts, and I've used MS Doiley punch. Oval nesties and Label 2 nesties and flowers from Wild Orchid crafts and I've added self adhesive pearls to the centers. The sentiment was computer generated.

Thanks so much for your visit I hope you enjoyed browsing around.

Good morning everyone, this is just a quick post today as I'm still flat out decorating and we are having problems with the refit of the bathroom...nothing ever runs smooth in this household

This weeks challenge is ONE FOR THE BOYS and we have two lovely sponsors this week. The Digital Stamp Boutique. Sally Anne the owner, has very kindly given the DT some of her Jim images to play with. I think they're so much fun, she has a wide variety of images in her shop so why not pop over and have a browse. The second sponsor for this challenge is the fabulous
All
ScrapsThat who are also offering a digi prize.

Now onto my card here's the recipe............

Image ...Jim collection 2 relax and diy from Digi Stamp Boutique
Label 2 Nesties
My Minds Eye Spring papers
Summer bubble stickers, origin unknown.
Papermania brads

Oh!! and remember Carly's fab wedding candy, the prize is just absolutely amazing, best I've ever seen in any candy. You can find it on the Charisma Challenge blog .

I hope you can join in the fun this week and look forward to seeing all your fab entries.

Nursery Graduation......

Hi there this is my second attempt tonight to load this card. Blogger deleted my post while I was typing...just as was getting to the end...grrr.. Anyway this card is for my Grandson Daniel who Graduated from Nursery to Primary School today. We had a lovely little Graduation Ceremony this evening and the kids all enjoyed themselves. For my card I used Billy Graduate image from Pink Cat Studio and coloured it very simply with Copics in the same colours as the Graduation Gowns and Caps. I made the rosette with blue satin ribbon and added a computer generated center, and added a few stars.
I've got a couple of cards still to do for other things this week so I'd better get on... Thanks for popping in

Charisma.....challenge #24

Good morning everyone, I've scheduled this post to go live Thursday morning as I' in the middle of getting my Bathroom redesigned and fitted so very little time free for crafting this week.
At the moment it's all preparation work and the fitting is being done at the weekend. Fingers crossed all goes well.

Right now onto my card, I gave you a little sneek peek on Tuesday, did you guess the challenge..?
It's Tasha's turn this week to set the theme and she's chosen
ALL ABOUT BLING
I decided to go all Christmassy and used my new Cuddly Buddly image Winter Fairy. I think she's just so lovely, very happy and carefree....You can purchase this digi stamp and loads of other fab craft essentials at Cuddly Buddly I've coloured her with Copics and used the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing pad on the background.
Ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts , I love these ribbons they are gorgeous and a little bit wider than most so they make a fabulous bow.
I've added lots of stickles and some snowflakes with bling too.

I hope you like it, a bit early for Christmas I know, but you've got to make a start sometime....
Thanks for popping in and don't forget to visit Charisma to see the Fabulous cards from our very talented DT. Happy Crafting...

June Wedding...

Well here we are flaming June already, half way through the year and the Wedding season is on.

This card is for a Wedding next weekend and I was asked to make it by one of my friends.
I have used the gorgeous Henbury Lane papers for this one, they are already glittered and are beautiful colours. I made a pearl trail from the two butterflies at the top and added two champagne glasses die cut on my Sizzix. She wanted a money pocket inside so I folded it so that the pocket is on the top half. I've put a Nestie circle in the pocket for effect....and I also had to add a thistle and a shamrock as the groom is Scottish and the Bride is Irish.
The card I used is pearlised water taffeta, I don't think you can see it very well here but I use it a lot for Wedding cards. I have only added one flower as I didn't want to distract from the gorgeous paper.
Thanks for popping in. I'll be back later with a 60th Birthday card.
