PB guys birthday card.....

Hello everyone!! I've had a lovely day with my two Grandsons today so I've just managed to do this card in the last couple of hours. It's for my Brother-in-law's birthday which is on Saturday. I used a PB little dog with tie image ( sorry don't know his proper name..lol.) which my friend Elaine very kindly gave me. I think he's cute don't you. The DP are from Papermania which I've had for years......the sentiment is also PB which came from Natalie thanks Nat and I mounted the image onto a Tag that I had . The swirl was cut on my Craft Robo. Finished it off with a peel off strip and three adhesive dots in the corners. Quite a simple design but I love the black and green together. Off now to finish the Twins card. Busy busy day!!!!

Charisma challenge #30....

Wow!! can't believe were at # 30 already. Here's my DT offering for this week using Joanne's fab sketch. I needed a card for a girl in work for her Daughter's 21st and the sketch fitted it perfectly. I used Forever Friends dottie paper and HOTP pink stripes paper. The image is one of my favourites from Elisabeth Bell and it's called Claudia the Artist. I just love colouring this image....The champagne flutes are cut with Sixxiz dies and the flowers are Poppiecraft. Ribbon and gems are from my stash.
This week we are being sponsored by PINK GEM DESIGNS Why not pop over to Charisma and find out what the prize is this week from Janet. It's really cute!!!!! Looking forward to seeing all your fab creations again and thanks to everyone who did my challenge last week with Tags I hope you all enjoyed it. As always all the entries were amazing. Hope you enjoy this weeks challenge, I'm off now to get my Grandsons for the day be back later hopefully with another card this time for TWINS......

Christening card...

Hello again, I only managed to make one of the cards I need for work. Between the Internet running slow and my new Kodak printer/scanner takes ages to scan and I'm not too chuffed with the colour quality either. I spent half the night waiting for things to happen....very frustrating. I also couldn't find the image I wanted for the inside.Never mind got there in the end. As you can see I used decoupage for this one. The DP is from Craft Creations, punch is Fiskars, Nesties Ovals flowers and ribbon from stash, and I used a little peel off with a cross and bible just to finish it off. Fingers crossed that she likes it. Must go to bed now I have work in the morning.

Onion Birthday....

Hi everyone!! Just one card today for my Nephew Allan. He likes footie and I used his fav team colours. The image is of course little Onion from the Daisy & Dandelion series of stamps. I find this set really useful as I have loads of Nephews and three sons and two Grandsons so he's been inked up quite a few times this year. Coloured with my Copics and I've added a CB Happy Birthday embossed panel, added a little tag and some peel offs to finish. Thanks for popping in. Off to make cards now for girls in work.

Just one of those things I suppose!!! Still I really enjoyed every ones blogs and seeing all the fab creations.

TAGS @ CHARISMA CARDZ....meets Elisabeth Bell

Hi everyone !! Yes it's Thursday again, where does the time go...? It's my turn this week to set the challenge at Charisma Cardz and I thought it would be nice to see TAGS on your cards/projects.
As usual you can make anything you like just as long as there is a tag on there somewhere.
You might even like to make your project THE TAG as I did. It's up to you. ....I made a TAG book. Quite simple to do and really enjoyable.
I cut 7 pieces of A5 card into tag shapes, and I used the poem "Monday's child" for the basis of the design. As anyone who reads my blog will know, I adore Elisabeth Bell images and I think they are just perfect illustrations for this poem. The papers are from K & Co Sparkly Sweet. I've added charms from the Hobby House and flowers and ribbon from my stash. Sorry there are so many pics but it's just to let you see each day of the week. This is such an easy project to do, just like making 7 cards and linking them up. Why not try it ....?

Pop over to Charisma and see the rest of the fab cards and projects from our really talented team. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with this week. Okay!! I think I've waffled on enough, hope you enjoy my challenge and thanks for staying awake during this post....lol..

Updated Pic of Drama mask....

UPDATE on the photo. This one shows the true colours of the card. I took a few more pics this morning in the daylight and what a difference. I must get myself a daylight bulb and an area where I can photograph the cards better. I get really annoyed when the pics don't show the true colours especially when I'm giving the card to a customer and sometimes don't get another chance to photograph it. Hope you like this one. xx Vee

Hi there, just a quick post as I'm back to work in the morning...:( This card is for a 16th year old girl who loves Drama , musicals, and New York. I'm not happy with the photo as it doesn't show the strong colours on this card. I wanted to pick up the cobalt blue and cerise pink from the image and it worked really well but the pic hasn't shown it at all. I'll try and get another pic in the daylight and see if it's any better. The DP is Heidi Grace, which by the way is cobalt blue, the big flower is a pressie from Carly, thanks Carly your a star. The cerise paper is basic grey, sultry and I embossed it with elegant swirls from Cuttlebug. The sentiment is computer generated and mounted on to Labels 2 Nesties. I've used Stickles on the Masks and added a few gems too. Right I'm off to bed now early start tomorrow. Thanks for looking...

Charisma challenge #27......Altered item....

Good morning everyone, it's Thursday again and another challenge from Charisma for all you lovely crafters out there. This week the challenge is being set by the lovely Carly the owner of Charisma, and she would like you to ALTER SOMETHING (NO CARDS). Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs and they have very kindly donated a mix of lovely stamps for this week's winner!!
My DT sample this week is a bottle box that I received last Christmas with of course a lovely bottle of vino.....which we had with our Christmas dinner. To start with it was just plain silver, though very nice, I just thought it needed a little cheering up, so I've added some papers from Craftcreations, the image is WOJ Herb, isn't he just gorgeous!! I'm going to be using him a lot this year, and I mounted him on my Oval Nesties. Sizzix snowflakes, Papermania brads and ribbon from my stash. The little star charm is from Hobby House.

So pop over to Charisma and see all other fabulous creations that our DT have come up with for you this week. Thanks for popping in.
